Why was this website created?
This website was created in March 2026, when the author found himself feeling bored during the recovery process following a week-long ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) surgery. Looking for a productive way to spend his time and keep his mind engaged, he decided to start a portfolio website.
Are personal websites still relevant today?
In my view, personal websites remain relevant, depending on the purpose. It is not entirely fair to compare a website with platforms like TikTok or Instagram, which naturally generate higher popularity and engagement if the objective is purely numbers. My primary goal, however, is to maintain a portfolio platform that supports personal branding and serves as a resource for my career development in the future.

The author has over 12 years of experience in digital writing and has been running a personal website with his own domain since 2014 (and expired in 2022).
